Foundation is a charity which provides services, homes and support to socially excluded and vulnerable people. They are the largest organisation of their kind in Yorkshire & Humberside. Reliable, low cost communications are vital to enable them to deliver the services they provide.

Situation before Angel

• Several different talk plans on three different networks.
• Existing contracts and paper billing made it almost impossible to identify where overspends occur or how savings could be achieved.
• Considerable time was being spent by Foundation personnel responding to and managing their mobile network estate.

Our Challenge

• To evaluate existing usage and identify potential savings.
• To negotiate exit strategies with existing suppliers and consolidate networks.
• To identify a way of working & reporting that saved time.

Results Achieved

• Negotiated a significant up-front payment from the new network provider.
• Achieved considerable ongoing savings of some 35 – 40% vs previous contracts.
• Established an Angel support team to manage all day to day network communications and user support requirements releasing valuable time for Foundation Personnel.
• Developed reporting tools that identify overspend and options for managing cost at a group and user level.
